About Candace

Hi, I'm Candace (she/her). I love learning about people's experiences and seeing life through their eyes. I believe people know themselves better than anyone else, including professionals. My goal in coaching is to meet you where you are and help you find your own path forward. I want to be a place where you can lay down what you're carrying and find help sorting through it all. If you're feeling overwhelmed and just need help finding a sense of peace, even for a moment, I'd love to walk alongside you.
As a neurodivergent parent to a neurodivergent teen, I understand firsthand what it's like to navigate a world that isn't always built for how our brains work. As a coach, my focus is practical and supportive, not diagnosis or treatment. I work alongside your current support network to keep our time together focused and connected to the work you're already doing.
I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Clinical Counseling and Sex Therapy, and a Bachelor's in Complementary and Alternative Health. I come from a holistic background, and I bring that same approach to coaching. I believe life doesn't happen in a vacuum and looking at the whole picture when I think about how to support you. I believe in small, manageable steps that build toward bigger goals. I'd hope to be a sounding board that reminds you of the progress you've made, especially on the days it's hard to see it for yourself.
I'm proud to offer coaching in partnership with Abide Inclusive Therapy, a trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming practice in North Carolina.
